BAR WELLINGTON IS BACK! We all thought this was closed for good, so so so happy to be randomly walking past and see humans there. Missed this place. Now the only proper pub in the area. Food is incredible, atmosphere is cozy nice pub vibe, great patio. But most of all the service, Ian was awesome. Huge genuine smile, great energy, efficient without ever feeling obtrusive. Thank you for a perfect time, be back very soon!

Bar Wellington is always a great vibe. Great place to start the bar hopping if coming from south of Portland and Front and working your way north to the King West Strip. I didn't stay long here this time because I was just grabbing a beer to ring a friend's birthday in at midnight but the service was A1 as always. I was deep into the bevys that night so I forgot to take pics and videos that night to help with this review. So i apologize for that. I live pretty close though, so I'll definitely be back to update this review with the visuals it deserves! Bartender was quick and polite with taking our order and made no fuss about us settling up the bill quickly. Genuinely don't think I've had a bad time here. I'll be ordering food the next time too to make sure I have a comprehensive review. Other than that. Stop by its a great place to build bonds and meet new people!

Great little pub off the craziness of King West, cozy place! Steak frites are super good, recommend going rarer than usual. Fries were super crispy which I love but know is not for everyone. Came in about a month ago & the Guinness draft tasted unusually flat & sour. Kind of metallic. Lines may need a flush or a Service call. Our Bartender/Server was great! Attentive young guy with darker hair, apologies for forgetting the name.

We decided to stop while passing through the neighbourhood and luckily it was one of those pleasant little places we find in our way. Good vibe, the service was great and the food was fresh and tasty. Amazing beer selection and the restaurant atmosphere was something else. Reasonable price. Definitely a place we would return. We got a sit almost immediately and even the patio had some free seats, despite being a little busy.
